東頡材料認證
本公司積極創新各項生產製程，以期減少地球溫室效應氣體的排放，及符合「從搖籃到搖籃」等各項認證的要求。具體作法為本公司已經透過「國家再生能源憑證中心」交易平台(https://www.trec.org.tw/certification_trade)，購買生產所需的再生能源。長遠規劃，除了持續購入再生能源供回收產品「化學降解聚氨酯回收料多元醇」生產使用外，本公司亦規畫將投入資本，於廠區屋頂等處，建構太陽能光電板，以減少化石燃料供電的需求。
東頡材料已認購再生能源憑證。證書如下所示:
With the support from ITRI, we calculated the carbon footprint of our product “HEXA Polyether Polyol” as well as the final product “Polyurethane foam”. “HEXA Polyether Polyol” is estimated to reduce the carbon footprint by 11% vs the virgin petrochemical polyol. As for the final product “Polyurethane foam”, it is estimated to reduce the carbon footprint by 5% for the stage 1 and 2. If stage 3 is included, it is estimated to reduce by 34%.
